A slaughtered body was found in a box at Mawach Goth in the remits of Maripur police station. According to police, the victim, who was later identified Ghulam Hussain 26 son of Ibrahim alias Babu, was the resident of Bismillah colony Mawach Goth.
They said the police found his body in a box, which was lying at Mianwali area Mawach Goth in the jurisdiction of Maripur police station. They further said the police were informed by the locals that a suspicious box was found in the area. Reacting on the information, police rushed to the scene and recovered a slaughtered body of Ghulam Hussain.
To a question, they said the victim's family claimed that Ghulam, who went to Lyari on Tuesday, did not come back home. However, his body was found in pieces during the wee hours of Wednesday morning. Police opined that the Lyari gangsters might involve in his murder as the victim was an active member of Lyari gangster Razzak Commando group. Moreover, they said the victim, who was unmarried and had several drugs cases, was transported to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico legal formalities.
