Nepal series: PCB names 20 female players for camp

Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday named 20 female players to attend a training camp from February 6 at Lahore country club Muridke to prepare for home series against visiting Nepal women team. The players were named by selection committee headed by Muhammad Ilyas along with selectors Farrukh Zaman and Ehtashamuddin.
The short duration camp will continue till February 8. Nepal Women Team will tour Pakistan for a Friendly Series of Twenty20 Matches being played from February 9-16. "It has also been decided that since Lahore Regional U-19 Team has won the recent U-19 National Championship, so they should be awarded one Twenty20 match against the visiting side," said a spokesman of PCB here.
Following will attend the camp: Sana Mir, Bismah Maroof, Marina Iqbal, Sidra Amin, Namra Imran, Faryal Awan, Javeria Wadood, Syeda Nain Fatima Abidi, Syeda Batool, Fatima Naqvi, Masooma Junaid Farooqi, Rabiya Shah, Kainat Imtiaz, Asmavia Iqbal, Sania Iqbal, Sana Gulzar, Areeb Shumaim, Nahida Bibi, Sadia Yousaf, Qanita Jalil and Nida Rashid. Officials of the team: Mansoor Rana, Coach: Abdul Majeed, Asst. Coach, Muhammad Yasir Malik Trainer, Sunaina Muneer Physiotherapist: Ayesha Ashhar, Camp Commandant.
