Usain Bolt, the fast man on the planet, has a rival these days and he is from Pakistan.
Meet Pakistan Junior Athletics champion Moid Baloch, who shares similar physical features of Usain Bolt and call himself the ‘Baloch Bolt.’
However, the athlete isn’t just bragging as he has some serious speeding credential after finishing the 100m sprint in 10.58 seconds, just a second short of the world record holder Bolt, who achieved the feat in 9.58 seconds back in 2009.
“Usain Bolt is the fastest man in the world and I wanted to be like him, therefore I train daily. I am hopeful that a day would come where the world would recognize me by the name of Baloch Bolt,” said Moid, quoted local media.
Apart from the national title, Moid has emerged as the fastest runner at Quaid-e-Azam trophy, and Inter-Provincial games as well. Despite limited resources, the athlete is optimistic that he would achieve his goal of becoming the fastest man.
