They pointed out that as India is not even ready for acceptance of Kashmir as disputed territory, therefore, government should sever trade and diplomatic relations with the country. They called for unification of the entire nation for the independence of Kashmir, saying Pakistan is incomplete till resolution of the problem.
Siraj-ul-Haq was also critical of the world community, saying that if UN could go for referendum in the case of Southern Sudan, why not in 63 years old the issue of Kashmir. He said that hearts of Kashmiris beat with Pakistan and they have hoisted our flags on their houses. Furthermore, Kashmiris have adjusted their time with Pakistan Standard Time and not with Delhi, he pointed out.
