Business community expresses solidarity with Kashmiris

The entire business community on Saturday along with nation while observing Kashmir Day expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, struggling for their right of self-determination for decades.
Co-Chairman Businessman Panel, the largest alliance of chambers and traders in the country and former President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iftikhar Ali Malik addressing a special meeting here said the people of Pakistan had extended unstinted moral support to the Kashmir freedom movement for the liberation of held valley from the clutches of occupied forces.
He said the long standing Kashmir problem is a threat to peace and stability of this region, as it has created constant tension between the two South Asian nuclear powers.
The government attaches great importance to an early, peaceful and durable solution of this dispute according to the UN resolutions and wishes of the people of Kashmir. Iftikhar Ali Malik said the business community of Pakistan condemns the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, by Indian troops stationed there to quell the indigenous freedom movement.
He said Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, all its affiliated chambers and attached associations observed Kashmir day in a befitting manner by shuttering down all the shops, markets and business centres. Speaking on the occasion, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shahzad Ali Malik said Kashmiris will continue their just struggle till its logical end.
The traders organised seminars on this occasion to urge peace loving nations all over the world to exert pressure on India to stop its aggressive policies, and allow the people of Kashmir to exercise their right of self-determination, he added.
