President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday called Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and expressed his deep sympathies and concerns over the devastation caused by the recent floods in Sri Lanka. He said that the government and the people of Pakistan could feel at their heart the sufferings and miseries of their Sri Lankan brothers and sisters having suffered the same natural calamity a few months ago.
