Pakistan’s 15-member squad for New Zealand tour has been finalised, as Sarfraz XI continue their preparations for the five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20Is.
A day earlier, Azhar Ali, who was sidelined over the past few months due to injury, returned to the squad in place of Ahmed Shehzad in ODI series.
Now, Shehzad is also unlikely to secure a place in the T20 squad for the New Zealand tour, as selectors are deliberating opening the batting with Babar Azam in the shortest format of the game, Geo News citing its sources said.
