Bollywood fans were over the moon after news revealed that actress Anushka Sharma is walking down the aisle with her long time boyfriend and Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli this month. Sorry to burst your bubble but as soon as their wedding news started trending on social media networks, Anushka's spokesperson dismissed the rumours about their wedding.

"There is absolutely no truth to it [rumours of marriage]," Anushka's spokesperson told news agency PTI.  However, Twitter's level of excitement is off the charts, early congratulatory messages have started to poured in for the lovebirds.

Speculations of a possible Italian wedding began after the couple decided to take a break from their work at the peak of the winter season. Virat backed out of the limited-over series against Sri Lanka that starts for Decemeber 10 and Anushka took a break from her shooting from ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.

Anushka, Virat take a break from work but is it for vacation or wedding?

An Indian publication, India Today, has quoted sources saying that Anushka and Virat will head to Italy for their Tuscan marriage, which will take place in between December 9 to December 11. The couple has been dating ever since they featured in an advertisement together back in 2013.

Although the duo had an on and off relationship, as Virat and Anushka apparently called it quits in the end of 2015, but they rekindled their romance just a few mother after. Recently, Anushka and Virat also featured in a bridal clothing line’s ad where the Indian skipper was seeing proposing to his partner.

In a recent interview on ‘Breakfast with Champions’, Virat couldn’t stop gushing over his lady love, praising her for making him a better man, “Anushka has taught me a lot over the last four years including how to be poised and how to utilize my position. She motivated me during my difficult phase when I wasn’t in the best form. And later, I ended up scoring runs. So it was a special thing for both of us,” he had said.
