Plan chalked out to mark international women's day

First Women Bank Ltd has chalked out programmes to mark the international women's day throughout the country. The celebration will be held at the Business Development and Training Centres and Area offices of the bank. An exhibition is being held in Area office, Lahore, on March 8, 2011, wherein products designed by the bank's entrepreneurs would be displayed.
Ms Asma Jehangir, President Supreme Court Bar Association would be the chief guest on the occasion. Another such exhibition is being organised by the Business and Training Centre, Islamabad from March 7, 2011, displaying products such as designer jewellery, perfumes, formal/casual wear, bed linen, home décor and much more.
A stall and help desk of the bank would also be set up at the exhibition being arranged by the Ministry of Women Development, KP in Peshawar. Moreover, a debate competition is being arranged at the International Islamic University, Islamabad. Topic of the debate competition is "Women Empowerment is necessary for the economic prosperity of the country."-PR
