Shanghai copper up

London copper was flat Friday, under pressure from firmer oil prices, but a weak dollar and optimism over impending US payrolls report kept losses in check. Shanghai's most active copper contract rose 0.8 percent to 74,720 yuan. On the week, LME copper has 1.5 percent, on track for its first gains since the start of February. Shanghai futures rose 2.9 percent.
