Chicago Board of Trade soyabeans and corn fell on Wednesday under pressure from upbeat outlooks for the South American harvest, traders said. Wheat initially edged higher on short-covering ahead of Thursday's USDA report, then sagged along with corn, the traders said.
At 9:56 am CST (1556 GMT), May wheat was down 2-1/2 cents at $7.77-1/4, May corn was down 9 cents at $6.96-1/2 and May soyabeans were 18 cents lower at $13.64.
