IEEEP to hold international symposium

Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) is organising a two-day international symposium on March 16 and 17 at a local hotel here. This was stated by Chairman IEEEP Engr Tahir Saleem, along with other office bearers including Engr, S S A Jaferi, Engr Ahmad Zubair, Engr Navid Ansari, Engr M Asif Siddiq, Engr M Irfan Sheikh and Zia ul Islam Zuberi at a press conference held at a local hotel on Thursday.
He said the institution had planned to organise 2nd Electro fair in coming September. The IEEEP is aimed at promoting healthy technical activity through its 26th symposium in Pakistan. The symposium, which would be expected to be visited by over 500 delegates, would have six sessions on these topics including solar energy, wind power, green buildings, intelligent load management system through SCADA network, intelligent load shedding systems, up gradation of power production systems, design and implementation of low cost circuit breakers for domestic application, etc. Some 16 intellectuals including Professor of Harvard University Dr Richard would read their search papers in the symposium.
