Seven hurt in Sui town blast

At least seven security guards of a local tribal elder were injured in a bomb blast took place in Sui town of Dera Bugti district on Thursday. "Unknown men had planted explosive devise in a motorcycle and parked it on the way where a security convoy of a local tribal elder had to pass", Levies sources said.
As result of the explosion, seven security guards suffered injuries who had been taken to Sui hospital for medical treatment, they added. Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) and Levies Force reached the place soon after the incident and put a cordon around the entire area to trace out the suspects. A LEA led operation has also been launched to arrest the suspects.
Meanwhile, an official in the district administration Dera Bugti claimed that security convoy was comprised security guards of MNA Mir Ahmdan Bugti which was heading towards the residence of the MNA, adding that however, the MNA was not present in the convoy.
