The provincial government of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) should take steps to save forests of the district from illegal woodcutters. This was stated by GB National Alliance Chairman Inayatullah Shumali while talking to newsmen here on Thursday. He said the area of forests was decreasing day by day due to illegal woodcutting, which was alarming situation for the environment protection.
