Capital police recover abducted girl, arrest six kidnappers

Islamabad Police succeeded in recovering a kidnapped girl after holding six kidnappers, besides detaining nine other persons from various areas for their alleged involvement in different crimes and recovered three pistols (30-bore), 48 rounds, one dagger, 21 bottles of liquor, 250 gram hashish from their possession.
Due to Margalla Police quick response, the release of the kidnapped girl was ensured, said Naeem Iqbal, spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Friday. He said that Margalla Police nabbed six persons for allegedly kidnapping a girl Maria. The alleged kidnappers were identified as Shehzad, Fawad, Ismaeel, Naveed, Mohsin and Sami and further investigation is underway from them.
He said that DSP (Saddar) Malik Tahir Mehmud assigned the task to a police team led by Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Yaseen to arrest those involved in various incidents of dacoity in the area. The police team arrested four persons identified as Jehan Ali, Lateef Khan and recovered two pistols (30-bore) and five bullets from their possession, while two accused Shehzad Parvaiz and Abdul Rehman were also arrested in possession of one pistol (30-bore) and a dagger.
Responding to information Aabpara Police apprehended three bootleggers Bilal, Aamir Iqbal and Zeeshan Masih, besides recovering a total of 21 wine bottles from them. Shehzad Town Police nabbed Tahir Mehmud and Zulf Mehmud for having 250 gram hashish. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of those policemen who arrested these outlaws and directed all police officials to take solid measures to curb crime in their respective areas. He has also directed to enhance patrolling in their areas and to leave no stone unturned to ensure complete protection to the lives and property of the citizens.
