Hoti gives extension to welfare organisation

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti has approved three years extension for Tanzeem Lissail-e-Wal Mahroom keeping in view its services in health, education and social welfare sectors for needy, poor and deserving people of the province.
He also agreed proposal regarding promotion of the organisation under social welfare department and approved increased in its annual fund from Rs 150 million to Rs 200 million. He was chairing the meeting of Tanzeem Lissail-e-Wal Mahroom. Its merit a mention here that the organisation was initially established for a period of three years January 2007 till 31st December 2010 with total fund of Rs 400 million in order to fulfil education needs of poor and needy children and treatment of deserving people of the province.
However, the government had extended its duration thrice for six-six months with ear marking additional grants keeping in view its services. The Chief Minister lauded services of the Tanzeem for ailing humanity and directed concerned department for providing the approved additional grant to the organisation. Assistance to poor, needy and deserving people is revered job and indigent sections of the society deserve the right to live, he added. He said that his government would not allow shortage of resources to hinder welfare activities.
He stressed the organisation for greater attention on provision of artificial organs to handicapped and disabled people as terror incidents impaired many people. Chairman of the organisation, Mohammad Hamyun Khan briefed the meeting in detail regarding objectives exercise and needs of the organisation and said that the Tanzeem is busy in providing services in health, education and social welfare sectors to deserving people and orphans.
He further added that effective and transparent strategy has been adopted for treatment of fatal diseases, provision of education from primary to secondary level and technical training. Participants of the meeting included Secretaries of P&D, Health, Education, Finance Departments Chairman Tanzeem Lissail-e-Wal Mahroom Muhammad Hamyun Khan, Special Secretary to Chief Minister and Syed Kamran Shah.
