Minor changes in slow trade on grain market

Sluggish business was seen on the wholesale grains market on Saturday as most of the buyers kept to the sideline due to less buying interest, dealers said. On the cereals side wheat old (burdan) was down by Rs 15 to Rs 2815 and wheat new (burdan) also shed the same amount to Rs 2825.
Gur low type was up by Rs 100 to Rs 5400 and best quality did not show any change at Rs 6200, other items maintained the overnight levels, they said. Only one change was seen on the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 10 to Rs 3350 and better type also drifted lower by Rs 50 to Rs 3375, they said. On the seeds side cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh inferior type was up by Rs 10 to Rs 1360 while the good type remained unchanged at Rs 1400, they added.
