Malik meets Altaf

Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Sunday held a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain in London and discussed PPP's measures to appease anger of its partner, a private TV channel reported.
According to the channel, issues related to the coalition government in Sindh, causes of tension between the two partners and MQM's grievances over Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza's statements were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting continued for two hours and after holding meeting, Rehman Malik left for Pakistan.-
In Karachi, the proposed meeting of a high level delegation of the MQM and Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ibad Khan with President Asif Ali Zardari was delayed by a day due to busy schedule of President Zardari.
