Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, arrived on Thursday night, along with his daughter Princess Zahra, at the Nur Khan Airbase in Islamabad.

Aga Khan was received by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Khawaja Asif, the Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, the president of the Ismaili Council for Pakistan, Hafiz Sherali.

Leaders of Aga Khan Development Network were also present at the airport to receive him.Over 200 junior scouts and guides were present to welcome Aga Khan and Princess Zahra.

 

 

Aga Khan has visited Pakistan on the invitation of Government of Pakistan. He is expected to meet President Mamnoon Hussain, as well as Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other government leaders.
