20 Mar, 2011

The meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC) of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance was held here on Saturday to see the current challenges of minorities in Pakistan. The meeting was chaired by Dr Paul Bhatti. Addressing to the members of the committee, Bhatti said we would organise condolence references in all provinces and members of executive committee would be the part of such references, where they will share the vision of Shaheed-e-Haq and appreciate the struggle of their Quaid.
In Churches and in all religious places condolence references will be organised, he said. The member of CEC said that this was the time to come under one umbrella to get united. Because the unity can take up to the road of prosperity. Bhatti said minorities are part of Pakistan and have very important role. All minorities are committed to sacrificing everything in order to make Pakistan a true democratic, prosperous, progressive and moderate country.
The committee appealed to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to establish an Independent Judicial Commission under the supervision of High Court Judge to bring the culprits of this tragic assassination for Justices. The true facts must be unveiled.
