Supreme Court's seven benches for next week

Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted seven benches including a special bench at the Principal seat to hear a number of important cases in the next week starting from March 19.
A seven-member special bench comprising the Chief Justice, Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmani and Justice Amir Hani Muslim is set to take up on Monday a set of appeals of dysfunctional and retired judges of superior judiciary who are facing contempt charges.
In the meanwhile, other regular benches will also conduct judicial proceedings after the conclusion of special bench. The first bench for Monday includes the Chief Justice, Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmani while on Tuesday the composition of the bench will be the Chief Justice, Justice Muhammad Sair Ali and Justice Ghulam Rabbani, (for Monday) the second bench of Justice Javed Iqbal and Justice Mian Saqib Nisar (on Tuesday) Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, (on Monday) third bench of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan and Justice Amir Hani Muslim, (for Tuesday) Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmani and Justice Amir Hani Muslim, fourth bench of Justice Nasir ul Mulk, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Ghulam Rabbani, (on Tuesday) Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and Justice Nasir ul Mulk, fifth bench of Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and others.
