Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has convened its parliamentary party's meeting ahead of the joint session of the Parliament on Tuesday (today), which will be addressed by the President, to chalk out the party's strategy for the session. Sources in PML-N said that the meeting would be chaired by Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The one-point agenda of the meeting will be devising party's strategy as how to protest during the presidential address to the joint sitting of the Parliament. The sources said that opposition parties including PML-N and JUI-Fazal might devise a joint strategy to register protest against the government policies during the address.
"The party believes that during its three-year rule, the PPP-led government failed at every front to put things on the track. The government has miserably failed in checking corruption and those involved in it are being protected," said a senior party leader. However, about the party's strategy regarding the joint session, he said that the party would come up with a final line of action after the parliamentary party's meeting.
