Daylight robberies in minibuses

24 Mar, 2011

Daylight robberies in minibuses on most busy roads in Karachi, particularly in the limits of Shah Lateef Town police station, have become a common factor in Karachi, putting the lives of law-abiding and peaceful citizens at risk. On Thursday, March 17 at about 3.00 pm, three unknown armed persons entered into minibus No 16, bound to Bhains Colony at Shafi Goth bus stop on the main National Highway.
They closed the doors of the minibus and took it away and started beating up the passengers, including ladies. On gunpoint, they snatched money, mobile sets and other valuable items of the passengers. There was a hue and cry by the ladies and children. It appears there is no law and order in Karachi. The Sindh government must tell the citizens where they should go for justice?
