PDWP approves 11 development schemes

Provincial Development Working Part (PDWP) meeting has approved 11 different development schemes worth Rs 13,226 million. The meeting held here on Thursday was presided over by the Secretary (Planning) P&D department and attended among others by the administrative heads of various departments.
The heads of the various departments briefed about their respective schemes including construction of Trauma Centre at Ojha Institute and establishment of four combined effluent treatment plants which would be sent to Federal Government for approval of Central Development Working Party (CDWP).
According to details, the scheme of Umbrella PC-l Structure development works in different Union Council (District east Karachi package) worth of Rs 98.385 million, to be used for improvement of RCC, sewerage, in different union councils of Jamshed Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Shah Faisal, Gadap and Korangi Town.
Another scheme of Rs 46.189 million. Construction of 52 Streets Roads/Side Drains/CC blocks and paves in Khairpur. Rs 500 million would be utilised for provision of water connection to Industrial & Economic zone at Dhabeji and adjoining areas and Rs 107, million would also be for provision of Sui Gas to Industrial and Economic at Dhabeji were approved.
In Health Sector, construction of Neuro Science Complex at CMC Hospital Larkana, containing Neuro surgery department (ii) Neuro Medicine (Ne Department) & iii) Psychiatry department worth of Rs 218 million and Establishment of Trauma Centre Lab and provision of support services at Institute of Chest disease campus of Dow university of health Sciences. Karachi worth of Rs 681 million ha also been approved.
The I.T Department with a co-operation of Nadra, computerisation of domicile & PRC through the Sindh province to provide and improve the quality of governments service delivery to citizens. The process would be automated/computerised.
