LHCBA takes out rally

The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) here on Friday took out rally to condemn the incident of desecration of the Holy Quran by Florida pastor Terry Jones. The rally marched from the LHCBA, premises to the Mall at GPO Chowk, where the participants raised slogans to condemn the incident.
Earlier the bar adopted a resolution unanimously and demanded the government to approach international court of justice for trial of Terry Jones and his colleagues. The house demanded that Terry Jones and his colleagues should be awarded capital punishment for their heinous crime.
The bar also condemned the US government and the Muslim Ummah to become a silent spectator in this wicked act by Terry and his companions. The bar president Asghar Gill said that the ruling elite should approach the US government for taking action against Terry. He said no one should be allowed to make mockery of others religious sentiments.
