16-inch gas pipeline blown up in Dera Bugti

Unknown assailants blew up 16-inch diameters natural gas supplying junction pipeline in Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti district on Friday. "Unidentified men had planted explosive material with a gas pipeline connected with different wells of Pir Koh Gas Field and blew it up with remotely controlled device", Levies sources said while confirming the media.
They said the sabotaging act had caused suspension of gas supply to the gas plant. The explosion affected functioning process of three gas wells including well No 40, 41 and 42. Heavy contingent of Levies Force hacked by security force reached the place and cordoned off the entire area. They have launched search operation to arrest the suspects.
