Islamabad Police have arrested ten criminals involved in fake currency transaction, drug pushing, bootlegging and in possession of illegal weapons and recovered 3.5-kilogram charas, 2 illegal weapons and fifty thousand fake currency from their possession, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Sunday.
The patrolling teams of Tarnol and Golra Police arrested George Zaman, Muhammad Ejaz, Abdul Rasheed, Muhammad Ali and Tazeem in possession of 2.7-Kilogram charas, Rs 50,000 fake currency and two pistols with 26 bullets, the spokesman said.
Koshar Police during patrolling apprehended a drug pusher Jameel Masih and recovered 250-gram charas from his possession.
CIA Police nabbed Azhar Ali and recovered 200-gram charas from his possession.
Shahzad Town Police arrested three criminals Muhammad Suleman, Javed Ali Khan, Khalil Khan and recovered 320-kilogram hashish from their possession.
Police have registered separate cases against them and started investigation.
