Pakistan and India semi-finals: CDA to install large screen at F-9 park

Keeping in view the enthusiasm of the cricket fans and importance of the semi-final between Pakistan and India, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has made elaborate arrangements to show the World Cup 2011 Semi-final to the general public on big screen.
In this regard, CDA would set up a large screen in Fatima Jinnah (F-9 Park) where people from all walks of life along with their families would watch semi-final of the mega event between Pakistan and India, said a spokesman of the CDA here on Sunday.
The Chairman CDA had directed the Director Municipal Administration (DMA) to make arrangements for setting up big screens at different locations of the city as well. On the direction of the CDA Chairman, DMA has made comprehensive arrangements at F-9 Park for entertaining the general public. Food festival and colourful programmes have also been chalked out at the Park to provide refreshment and entertainment facilities to the people.
CDA has also collaborated with the ICT Administration for making proper security arrangements. Presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements in this regard, Chairman CDA, Imtiaz Inayat Elahi said that CDA always takes lead for providing quality sports and entertainment facilities to the residents of the Federal Capital.
He said that as a civic agency we would be extending all possible resources to entertain the public on this mega event. He said that the semi-final is a big opportunity for the Authority to serve the public by setting up big screen in the capital city.
