Pakistan and Uganda to cooperate in agriculture field

Pakistan and Uganda will work together and cooperate in the field of agriculture with the exchange of researchers. This was stated by Uganda Envoy Muhammad Ahmad in a meeting with University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan at VC chamber.
The envoy said that although Uganda does not have much natural resources in the field of agriculture like Pakistan but they have a lot of opportunities for agricultural development. He said that their country is not equipped with latest system of value addition of agriculture production. For this purpose, they will get cooperate with research and science institutions from Pakistan.
The envoy praised the efforts made on the part of the university on the horizon of agriculture. Dr Iqrar welcomed the ideas of the envoy and said that the university will extend its full co-operation in the field of agriculture to them. He said that the university is working to enhance its mutual co-operation with many countries.
He said that with the exchange of experiences the world would meet the requirement of food and would fight the future challenges. He said it is our pleasure to have mutual co-operation with the universities situated in Uganda. He vowed to fight agricultural challenges confronting both the counties. He said that in the future the world would have to face many challenges adding that it is time to be prepared for the challenges.
