Three killed in separate incidents

At least three people were killed in separate incidents at different parts of metropolis on Thursday. According to details, a body was found in a gunny bag body from Naval Colony Baldia within the limits of Saeedabad police station.
The body of the victim, who was later identified as 42-year-old Mohammad Qamar and a resident of sector 19-A Baldia, was found in a gunny bag from the bushes in Naval Colony. Police said the body, which was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for post-mortem, had several torture marks and might have been murdered over personal enmity. No case was registered till filing of this report.
In another incident, a youth was crushed to death near Five Star Chowrangi in the limits of Taimuria police station. The victim 25-year-old Waqas son of Iqbal, a resident of Nagan Chowrangi North Karachi, was hit by speedy vehicle when he was going home near Five Star Chowrangi North Nazimabad. Resultantly he died on the spot while the responsible driver ran away after this incident. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities. No case was registered till filing of this report. A labour was drowned in a sea while working at KPT gate in the vicinity of Docks police station. The rescue teams were unable to recover the body of the victim 32-year-old Akhter because of darkness.
