Lahore High Court here Friday returned a constitutional petition seeking inquiry through Federal Investigation Agency and National Accountability Bureau into the match between India and Pakistan in Mohali. LHC's registrar office, while returning the petition said that petitioner had annexed no documentary proof to substantiate his allegations.
The petitioner Muhammad Irfan Mukhtar had contended that 'cricket diplomacy' was a conspiracy prepared by the bookmakers to provide cover to their crime. He said the way Pakistan team surrendered to India makes it obvious that the match was fixed.
