At least three persons including police informer were gunned down in separate incidents of targeted killing at various parts of the metropolis here on Tuesday. According to details, police informer 35-year-old Fazal Karim son of Abdul Karim, a resident of sector A Qasba Colony Orangi Town in Qasba Colony Orangi town, was fallen victim by two unknown armed assailants within the limits of Pirabad police station.
Resultantly he received two bullets on his head and neck and succumbed to his injuries on spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico legal formalities. Police confirmed that the victim was the car dealer and also an informer of Crime Investigation Department (CID), which might have been caused of his murder. The body of victim, who was the father of two, was handed over to his heirs. No case was registered till filing of this report.
A man was shot dead in Hospital Chowrangi Landhi in the limits of Quaidabad police station. The victim 26-year-old Khawas Khan son of Zareef Khan, a resident of Quaidabad, was targeted by two armed men near Hospital Chowrangi when he was going with his friend in a car (M-7377). Resultantly Khawas received two bullets and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for postmortem. Police registered a FIR 158/11 against unidentified men on the complaint of victim friend namely Mir Wali Khan and initiated probe.
A young man was killed at Jhangir Road in the jurisdiction of Jamshed Quarter police station. The victim 23-year-old Arsalan son of Abdul Jabbar was shot dead at outside of his house situated at Jhangir Road no 2. Police shifted body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.
