The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) as a part of "Lahore Shopping Festival" on Tuesday organised different events including young entrepreneurs business plan competition, opening of photography competition and exhibition "My Lahore" and Vintage Car Rally.
MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif was the chief guest at the opening of business plan competition and photography competition while the Vintage Car Rally was started from the parking area of Liberty market and ended at the LCCI. For being first of its kind, the Vintage car rally was appreciated by all as on the way of the rally, the people were lined up to witness this rare event arranged by the Lahore Chamber in collaboration with Punjab government.
Speaking at photography competition, MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif paid rich tributes to the participants of the photography competition and said that the event would help highlight the tourism potential of the Lahore.
Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is fortunate enough that it has more than 50 percent of its population below the age 25 and they people have the potential to change the destiny of the country that has been facing multiple challenges for quite long now. He said that is not it very strange that the countries which were far behind Pakistan only 50 years ago are now fast making their place in the developed countries. He said that the government in consultation wit the private sector would have to evolve out-of-box solution to cope with ongoing crisis like situation.
Addressing the participants of the Vintage Car Rally, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mashhood Ali Khan said that Lahore Shopping Festival has given a lease of life to the Lahoris who were looking for such beautiful functions. He said that the Punjab government would continue to support all such events aimed at strengthening the economy of the country.
Earlier, addressing the participants of the photography competition, the LCCI president Shahzad Ali Malik said the LCCI in future would arrange such photography function with the name of My Pakistan. He said that photographers from all over the country would be encouraged to participate in the said function.
Speaking on the occasion, the LCCI Senior Vice President Sh Mohammad Arshad threw light on the very objectives of the Lahore shopping festival. He said that the results coming from the events were beyond his expectations. He said that participation of all the segments of the society is being ensured in various events of the Lahore shopping Festival.
