LCCI organises business walk

Thousands of businessmen, politicians, members of the civil society, business women, students and professors on Wednesday took part in LCCI Business Walk to express solidarity and show their resolve to take the country out of gloom and promote healthy activities.
The Business Walk was the part of LCCI Shopping Festival that is going towards the peak gradually. MNA Pervez Malik, cricketer Wahab Riaz, LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik, Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad, Vice President Sohail Azhar, former Presidents Mohammad Ali Mian. Mian Anjum Nisar, Mian Shafqat Ali and Executive Committee Members have jointly led the walk.
While appreciating the LCCI for arranging business walk, MNA Pervez Malik said that such activities are absolutely necessary to tell the world that Pakistani, as a nation are determine to get their right place in the global market and they would continue their struggle for the economic revival of the country. He said that the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif putting his best efforts for turning the province into a hub of business activities.
He said it is not only the education, which is on the priority list of the Chief Minister Punjab but he is equally worried about the fast widening gap between the rich and the poor and taking appropriate measure to bridge this gap. Pervez Malik said that the LCCI initiative of Lahore Shopping Festival was not only a step in right direction it would help promote the business and economic activities in the province. He said that the Punjab Government would continue to supplement the LCCI efforts in the larger interest of the country.
In his address, renowned cricketer and national hero Wahab Riaz said that it was prime duty of all of us to make country stronger and prosper. Earlier, the participants warmly welcomed the national hero and chanted full throat slogans. Meanwhile, in the 2-day photography Competition & Exhibition "My Lahore", Nawaz Alam and Farhan Zohaib won the first prizes of one lakh each in the professional and students categories, respectively, while Umer Shahid and Fahad Khan secured second and third positions in the students category. Israr Ahmad Chishti, Ejaz Fareed Mirza, Guddu Shani and Naeem Akram were the judges of the competition, while almost 200 hundred photographers took part in the LCCI Photography Competition.
