Five alleged robbers held

Islamabad Police have arrested five persons from different areas of the city and recovered stolen items, gold ornaments and illegal weapons from their possession, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Wednesday. Bhara Kahu Police nabbed three persons allegedly involved in robberies and during the preliminary investigation they confessed their involvement in different robbery incidents.
The detained outlaws were identified as Mohammad Nazakat, Muzaffar Hussain and Ahmed Ali, while police recovered gold ornaments, mobile phones and pistol from their possession. Sabzi Mandi Police during a routine patrolling stopped a person namely Naseer Khan and on search one pistol was recovered from him. Koral Police arrested Gulzar Khan during routine patrolling and recovered 100gram charas from his possession. The SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has directed to intensify efforts against anti-social elements to ensure the arrest of the criminals.
