ITP, IOP attend training course

Officers Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Islamabad Operation Police (IOP) have attended training course `Order Maintenance Vehicle Stop Course' aimed at empowering the force to assist people in crossing the roads, besides checking suspected vehicles to avoid any incident.
Total 17 cops of ITP and IOP participated in the weeklong training course designed to empower the cops to provide assistance to people on road and check the suspected vehicles. The course held at Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters by International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Programme (ICITAP) was attended by the officials of Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Sub-Inspectors and Head Constables.
Senior officials of ICITAP Chuck Bannett, Instructors Rand Padget, Shaun Guice delivered lecture, while Aizaz-ul-Haq and Faisal served as interpreters. The SSP Islamabad Dr Moeen Masood and SP Mir Vais Niaz distributed the certificates among the officers at the concluding ceremony and said that such training programme will remain continue to polish the skills of cops. SP (Traffic) Mir Vais Niaz appreciated the organisers of the course and congratulated the participants.
