Two labourers die as roof of building collapses

At least two labourers were killed when a roof of under constructed building collapsed near Inquiry office within the limits of Nazimabad police station on Thursday morning. According to detail, the roof of under constructed two storey building 2C1/11 located in the limits of Nazimabad police station fell down on Saeed Ahmed, 42, and Raza Ahmed, 38, when they were busy in demolishing the same for reconstruction purpose.
An eyewitness Kamran, a resident of the same area said this scribe that the roof was collapsed with a huge bang. Then the area people, who gathered after the incident, informed the police and started rescue work, immediately. Police said that the electric pool fell down in this incident, which led to spread electricity across the building and added that no further loss was reported as power was suspended, immediately. They said both victims died on the spot and the bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Furthermore, they said the building was in the possession of Tahseen, who is missing soon after this mishap.
