Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has started preparation of proposals for the coming National annual budget 2011-12 at the call of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), which has sought proposals for the national budget from all affiliated chambers and trade bodies across the country.
Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) President, Shahid Naseem Khokhar said that executive committee of MCCI would finalise the proposals for amendment in Income tax, wealth tax, general sales tax, trade policy, allocation of funds for new and on-going projects.
Shahid said since Multan Chamber is a pioneer trade body of Southern Punjab it will hold a series of meetings at its neighbouring chambers of Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, Rahimyar khan etc, registered trade bodies and associations to come up with viable proposals and future strategy to be taken up with the Federal Finance Minister and the Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue.
