PPP Punjab urges Supreme Court to remove stain on its face

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Punjab has urged the Supreme Court to remove stains on its face by deciding presidential reference seeking apex court's opinion on reopening of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's murder case. A meeting of the provincial general body also appreciated President Asif Ali Zardari for filing a reference to this effect.
PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich presided over the meeting, attended by Raja Riaz, Abida Hussain, Ahmed Mujtaba Gilani, Iqbal Sialwi and other senior party members, besides organisational office-bearers from across the Punjab. The participants said Bhutto's verdict was a judicial murder and the apex court should remove stains from its face, especially when formers Judges have admitted the fact in black and white.
