Capital police nab 10 suspected outlaws, recover arms

Islamabad Police during its ongoing anti-crime drive have arrested 10 persons for their alleged involvement in different crimes and recovered one 12-bore gun, eight pistols and drugs from their possession. Capital police continued its efforts for elimination of crimes and during last 24 hours arrested 10 persons and recovered illegal arms and drugs from their possession, said Naeem Iqbal, spokesman of Islamabad Police, here on Friday.
Tarnol Police during its routine patrolling overpowered three accused namely Dialwar Khan, Farooq and Aftab and on their search, two pistols (30-bore), 25 bullets, 150 gram charas and 20 gram opium were recovered. Margallah Police during routine checking stopped two persons namely Zubair and Nasir Khan and during the course of search, found two pistols of 30-bore from their possession. Shalimar Police recovered one pistol (30-bore) from a detained accused Imran, who was stopped during a regular patrolling.
Similarly, Anti-Car Lifting Cell, during a search operation and routine checking of vehicles, arrested Salahuddin for having one pistol (30-bore), while Sabzi Mandi Police nabbed Rahim Dad for having one pistols (30-bore) and two magazines. Nilore Police nabbed Yasir Ameen for having one gun (12-bore) while Bhara Kahu Police nabbed Rafen Sultan for having one pistol (9MM). The spokesman said that cases have been registered against the detained persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
