Sluggish activity seen on wholesale grain market

Sluggish activity was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Saturday as most of the buyers were sidelined due to little buying interest, dealers said.
Most of changes were seen on the seed side, rapeseeds Nawabshah and Mirpurlane low type shed Rs 125 to Rs 2150 and good types shed Rs 100 to Rs 2200, rapeseeds Dadulane followed the suit, falling Rs 100 to Rs 2000-2050, rapeseeds cake low type gained Rs 5 to Rs 880 and better type was higher by Rs 10 to Rs 890. Cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh was down by Rs 10 to Rs 1340-1390, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type retained its overnight level at Rs 3300 while the best type inched up by Rs 20 to Rs 3370, other types maintained the overnight levels in process of trading, they said. Cereal and grams sides did not show any change due to balanced demand and supply factors, they said.
