The Secondary School Certificate Annual Examination 2011 of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) will commence from April 18 (today). The Chairman of the Board, Professor Anwar Ahmed Zai, said on Sunday that as many as 327,000 candidates- both regular and private, will appear in the examination at 225 centres in the metropolis.
The admit cards have been dispatched to regular candidates at their respective academic institutions. The admit cards to the private candidates have been sent through UMS at their residential addresses. Anwar Zai maintained that the admit cards have been delivered to all the candidates.
He said there would be section 144 around all the 225 examination centres in the metropolis. The Chairman Board further stated that no unconcerned person would be allowed entry.
The photo copy machines around the centres would also remain closed during the examination hours.
Anwar Zai was of the view that foolproof arrangements have been made for the delivery of question papers at the examination centres as well as the answer scripts later on to the Board office. On April 18, the morning shift paper will be of 10th Class Science Group and the afternoon shift papers will be of 10th Class General Group.
