Like many other countries, World Earth Day will also be celebrated in Pakistan on Friday (today) to create awareness about the importance of earth and clean environment. This year the theme of Earth Day is "Billion Acts of Green". In the provincial capital, on the day various organisations would organise various functions to raise awareness among people about environmental issues confronting Pakistan and the world.
