CID police on Wednesday arrested 4 alleged target killers from various parts of the city. According to its announcement here, the CID police arrested accused Bakht Chandio after a raid on a house in Mauripur Police jurisdiction in the western part of the city.
It further claimed that one TT pistol and ammunition were also recovered from his possession. Further investigations were underway, it added. Meanwhile, Umair son of Fazal-e-Rabbi was arrested from Orangi police jurisdiction for alleged involvement in firing on public transport vehicles in which several commuters were injured.
An official of Super Market Liaquatabad Police station said that they also arrested two target killers who were allegedly involved in killing police personnel and civilians in various cases in Liaquatabad and Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town areas. Identified as Irfan alias Iffi and Junaid, they were arrested from C-1 area of Liaquatabad, police sources added.
