Korean delegation calls on Punjab chief minister

A Korean delegation associated with transport sector called on the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Wednesday. Co-operation with regard to transport sector was discussed during the meeting. Members Provincial Assembly Hafiz Mian Nauman, Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed, Chairman Lahore Transport Company Kh. Ahmed Hassaan, Chairman Planning & Development, Secretaries of Finance and Transport departments and senior officers were also present on the occasion.
The Korean delegation included Jung, Youngho, Choi Jihye, Lee, Jae Ho and Drpark Jeabeom. Talking to the delegation, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that provision of best transport facilities to the masses is the top priority of the Punjab government and government is taking solid steps for provision of quality and comfortable travelling facilities to the people. He said that public private partnership is being promoted for improving the transport facilities and investors are being encouraged for investment in this sector.
The Korean delegation expressing its interest in investment in transport sector in Punjab said they will extend co-operation in the improvement of transport sector in Punjab. Later, Members Provincial Assembly belonging to various districts also met with the Chief Minister and apprised him of people's problems and ongoing development projects in their respective areas.
