Two children among eight killed in city

At least eight persons including two children were killed in separate incidents in various parts of the city on Wednesday, police said. According to police, two workers of Pukhtun Students' Federation, Abid and Iqbal were killed and Ibrahim was injured when their car came under attack by some unknown terrorists at Nipa.
In another incident, two children, both 11-year-old, were killed by police outside their homes in Pak Colony. After the killings, SHO Chaudhry Ayub was suspended and the responsible constables Sohail and Munir were arrested. In yet another incident, a dead body of a worker of Jiay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), Haris, was found in the limits of Sukhan police station at Port Qasim. Police said some unknown people had first abducted Haris and latter killed him.
An activist of a political party, Asif was killed by some unknown terrorists in Gulistan-e-Johar, Block 12. He was a resident of Bhittai Colony, police confirmed. Some unknown people killed Jaffer Abbas near Rehmania Masjid, North Karachi, in the limits of Khwaja Ajmer Nagri police station. In another incident Abdul Majeed was killed on Sparco Road, in the limits of Mauripur police station, police said.
