Baasit Hussain, a BS-18 officer of Pakistan Customs Service, currently posted as Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports, Karachi, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect and until further orders, says a press release issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) here on Saturday.
The action has been taken by the competent authority in exercise of powers conferred under Section 5(1) of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, the release adds. -PR
