Afridi lauds students' services during IPO conference

Chairman Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO) Pakistan Hameedullah Jan Afridi has said that students were the asset of the country and their energies and capabilities should be utilised for the development of the country.
Students are active part of our society and they are equally capable to perform any kind of task, Afridi said while talking to the students of various varsities, who had rendered services as 'ushers' during the 3rd National IP Conference 2011, held on the occasion of World IP Day.
The Director Administration and Human Resource IPO-Pakistan Meesaq Arif, Director Finance Inam-ul-Haq, Deputy Directors Syed Nasrullah, Chaudhry Asfand Ali and Assistant Director Asif Iqbal, were also present on the occasion. Afridi lauded the services of students and appreciated their keen interest and involvement in the activities of national importance.
He said students would be imparted training about different segments of IPO by arranging seminars and conferences. Afridi highlighted the role of IPO in strengthening national economy and told that efforts were being made to improve the standard of services of IPO-Pakistan with the provision of necessary facilities. Meesaq Arif appreciated the role of students in organising IP conference in a disciplined manner.
