The Indus Motors Company (IMC) honoured its commitment by delivering all Corolla orders for the month of April without any major delay despite facing supply constraints in auto parts from Japan, IMC spokesman said in a press release issued here on Tuesday.
He said that IMC had never compromised on its commitment and had successfully satisfied its customers, once again, with timely deliveries of their ordered vehicles, although several auto parts plants experienced adverse impacts of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan and were unable to supply auto parts to automakers as yet.
"The customers are top priority for us at IMC, and we don't want them to suffer when we know that timely delivery of their booked vehicles may not be possible. So we are not taking any orders for the time being," he said, adding that IMC is also taking all possible administrative measures to stop malpractice of charging 'premium' by some dealers. "The customers should say no to premium, as we are making sure that the vehicle already booked will not be unduly delayed and all the parts required to produce these vehicles are available with IMC and their orders will be delivered in time", the spokesman added.-PR
