Liquid foreign reserves decline by $72.1 million

Country's liquid foreign reserves have declined by $72.1 million during the last week. State Bank of Pakistan on Thursday reported that the country's totalled foreign reserves declined to $17.107 billion as on April 30, 2011, standing at $17.179 billion a week earlier. Reserves held by SBP witnessed positive trend and surged by $26 million to $13.701 billion from $13.675 billion. However, reserves held by banks posted a decline of $98.1 million to $3.405 billion.
